All of our cakes are priced according to number of servings, flavor, fillings, and hours of decor going into decorating it. Every cake is very unique and our pricing may vary and increase depending on the order.

 

 

Custom 3D/Fondant/Sculpted cakes:

 

Custom 3D/sculpted cakes start  per serving based on the flavor chosen, with the additional fondant cost per serving, plus the number of hours estimated to decorate at $50.00 per hour. Should a custom stand have to be built by CBE in order to support your cake and fit the needs of your order, additional charges may apply for time and materials.  If you want to order a custom fondant cake we suggest giving us 6-8 weeks notice.  We do our best to fit in every order we can and want to ensure we have the date available for your order.  

 

 

2D Buttercream cakes:

 

2D buttercream cakes start per serving based on the flavor chosen, plus the number of hours estimated to decorate at $30.00 per hour.

 
We offer buttercream cakes in our full bakery for walk-in purchase when available. Calling and checking in advance is always best, as we do run out of our cakes on display very quickly on a daily basis!  If you want to order a custom buttercream cake we suggest giving us 4 weeks notice.  We do our best to fit in every order we can and want to ensure we have the date available for your order.
 

 
Why are custom cakes more expensive than those sold at grocery or other chain stores?
 

Unlike chain stores that mass produce a small variety of standard design cakes, custom cakes are designed, baked, and decorated specifically for each client.  These works of art take many hours to complete and for complex designs, days are needed.  Cakes seen on television actually take days to weeks to prepare, not the 30-60 min of edited program actually shown. At Cakes by Erin we cake the time needed to ensure that your cake is custom in every way!
